AFS Children’s Folklore Section Invites Submissions for the 2022 Opie Prize

The Children’s Folklore Section of the American Folklore Society is taking submissions for the Iona and Peter Opie Prize through August 1, 2022.

The prize is awarded approximately every two years to the author of the best recently published scholarly book on children’s folklore.

Please submit books for consideration to the chairs of the Opie Prize Committee chairs:
