Leela Prasad Elected Vice President of the American Academy of Religion

The 2022 AAR elections for the Board of Directors have concluded. Leela Prasad has been elected Vice President and Keri Day has been elected At-Large Director.

The American Academy of Religion is the flagship global organization of Religious Studies and allied disciplines. Founded in 1909, it has more than 8,000 members from across the world. The Vice President is part of the three-year presidential line of the AAR, becoming President-Elect in the second year, and President in the third year.
