$5.1 M. Gift Supports University of Arkansas Libraries, AK Folk and Traditional Arts Program

News from the Field

Two anonymous donors made gifts totaling over $5 million to the University Libraries at the University of Arkansas, making history as the single largest contribution made by individuals to support the Libraries.

These gifts will establish an Endowed Dean’s Chair and an Endowed Professorship in Special Collections, as well as provide $600,000 to support Phase II of the Mullins Library renovation and create a materials and preservation area in Special Collections and an office suite for Arkansas Folk and Traditional Arts, a program of the University Libraries.
