Access Proceedings from 2021 Missouri Folklore Society Annual Meeting

Missouri Folklore Society held its annual meeting virtually November 3 – 5. In order to accommodate the diverse needs of its membership and other audiences, the MFS 2021 Annual Meeting was made available online, starting with both “at will” sessions and “synchronous live” events.
Additionally, the meeting featured “at will” links to watch their “Then & Now: Apprentice Journeys” interview with Angela J. Williams; a presentation from folklorist Sam Kendrick and educator Ellen Law Kendrick (American Folklife Center Archie Green Fellows) on the occupational folklife of crop dusters; a short concert by Eileen Gannon – Harpist and her 2021 TAAP apprentice; a performance by Sriya Pokala—2021 apprentice to Eswary Letchumonan; two short films from Ozark Vitality; a collection of stories from 2021 apprenticeship team Angela J. Williams and Cynthia McPherson; and a Missouri 2021 dance concert curated by Carmen Dence of GRUPO ATLANTICO , ST LOUIS MO for the The State Historical Society of Missouri.
