Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is Seeking Folklife Project Consultant

The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) seeks a consulting folklorist project which will take place spring and early summer 2022.
A folklife specialist with knowledge of the Chesapeake region, but not necessarily a specialty in maritime culture and occupations, is desirable. CBMM desires a comprehensive approach to evaluating our collection and opportunities to incorporate living traditions into our programming. An external perspective from someone who has limited exposure to our collection is important.
The project stipend is $8,000. Work must be complete by June 30, 2022.
Interested candidates may submit a CV or resume and letter of interest to CuratorJenifer Dolde.
