Nathan reviews archives management basics for cultural heritage professionals, including theory and principles, care and handling, storage and security, and arrangement and description.

About the Facilitator
Nathan Georgitis is an archivist and folklorist with 20 years of experience managing multi-format, ethnographic collections for academic libraries, tribal repositories, folklore archives, and public radio stations. Nathan provides consulting services and serves as executive director for the Association for Recorded Sound Collections and contract archivist for HistoryIT.
