Gillian Bennett (1939-2023)
Gillian Bennett, scholar of contemporary legends, supernatural belief, ghost narratives, history of folklore scholarship, women folklorists, and author of numerous publications, including Traditions of Belief (1987), and editor of Folklore from 1994-2002, died on December 13.
