Introducing Flower City Folk

Flower City Folk (FCF), a newly established folklife program in Rochester, New York, now serves individuals living in Rochester and the surrounding communities by supporting and documenting diverse folklife, facilitating related educational opportunities, and connecting community members to local, state, and federal arts resources.
After some years of planning, the organization received multiyear regional and county program funding from the New York State Council on the Arts in 2021 and launched its website. Its founding director is Hannah Davis.
It operates within Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Individualized Study.
