Folklore Works, Folklorists in the News

Ms. Magazine releases a list of must-read books published by writers from historically marginalized groups each month. For December, the book Revolutionary Women of Texas and Mexico Portraits of Soldaderas, Saints, and Subversives by Kathy Sosa, Ellen Riojas Clark, and Jennifer Speed was selected for the list. Revolutionary Women includes an afterword by AFS President Norma Cantú, who is currently the Norine R. and T. Frank Murchison Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at Trinity University.

See the list on Ms. Magazine’s website or read more about the book through Trinity University Press.
