Publore Celebrates 25 years

The Publore listserv has served the public folklore community for 25 years. 

More than 900 subscribers use the listserv to stay informed of issues of concern to public folklore, requests for information or assistance, job postings, announcements of events, exhibits and publications. The Publore Archive, which contains past Publore postings grouped by week, also includes instructions for joining the listserv.

Claude Stephenson of New Mexico Arts launched the list on December 10, 1996, and continues to host the group, with the assistance of Mike Luster of the Arkansas Folklife Program.
