Venetia Newall Collection Acquired and Indexed by The Folklore Library and Archive

The Folklore Library and Archive mobilized an emergency fund-raising effort and successfully secured the complete document collection of Venetia Newall (1935-2017), AFS Fellow and Past President and Honorary Secretary of the Folklore Society in the United Kingdom.

The Folklore Library and Archive is an independent holding that is physically based in the South West of the UK, with a website managed by dedicated and dispersed volunteers, which aims to preserve and digitize an ever-growing repository of research material in the field of folklore for future generations of researchers.
