Funding, Professional Opportunities
An acrostic of the letters South Arts

Grants of up to $2,500 for organizations in South Arts’ nine-state region (AL, FL, GA, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN) are available to make arts programs accessible to persons with disabilities. Applications are awarded on a rolling basis until May 15, 2024. Micro Accessibility Grants may be submitted beginning August 15, 2023, for projects taking place between August 15, 2023-June 30, 2024. The project must take place by June 30, 2024. Projects may include performing arts (music, dance, and storytelling) and/or visual arts/crafts

South Arts encourages arts organizations to hire artistic personnel of all abilities at all levels; for these grants in particular, South Arts encourages arts organizations to work directly with artists who identify as disabled.

New for this year: Thanks to a generous gift from a donor, no matching gifts will be required of applicants for the FY 2024 Micro Accessibility Grant cycle.
