The National Council on Public History (NCPH) has opened the Call for Proposals for their 2027 Annual Meeting, taking place April 21–24, 2027, in St. Louis, Missouri. The meeting theme, “Holding the Line,” asks us how we, as practitioners, can confront a moment of repression and resistance in the places where we work and live.

NCPH offers the opportunity to submit preliminary topic proposals for constructive feedback before the final deadline. These optional early topic proposals should be submitted by May 5, 2026.

Final proposal submissions are due via the following online forms by June 15, 2026:
Session
Working Group
Workshop
