CFP: 28th International Conference on Learning

Calls for Submissions

The 28th International Conference on Learning, hosted by Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland, is scheduled for July 7–9, 2021.

The Learner Research Network (LRN) is brought together around a common concern for learning in all its sites, formal and informal, and at all levels, from early childhood, to schools, colleges and universities, and adult, community and workplace education. The LRN seeks to build an epistemic community where linkages can be made across disciplinary, geographic, and cultural boundaries. As a Research Network, LRN is defined by scope and concerns and is motivated to build strategies for action framed by shared themes and tensions.

The 2021 Special Focus is “Universalism or Particularism: Knowledge and Power in the Process of Decolonization Revisited.”

Annual themes include:

  • Pedagogy and Curriculum;
  • Assessment and Evaluation;
  • Educational Organization and Leadership;
  • Early Childhood Learning;
  • Learning in Higher Education;
  • Adult, Community, and Professional Learning;
  • Learner Diversity and Identities;
  • Technologies in Learning;
