CFP: Gender and Translation in Multilingual India

Calls for Submissions, News from the Field

Litinfinite Journal: A peer-reviewed journal of literature and social sciences, invites scholars and academicians to send an abstract of not more than 300 words on the topic Gender and Translation in Multilingual India by September 20, 2022.

A gendered approach to translation in terms of the language of translation as well as the texts translated becomes a significant area of scholarship in translation studies. Translating texts by women remains an important literary activity to develop a cogent conversational space across cultures. It is also important to seek a continuum of the feminist movements across languages and cultures. Thus, the current issue of Litinfinite Journal welcomes critical essays pertaining to women and translation.

Important dates:

  • The selected abstracts will be intimated via email by September 30, 2022.
  • Final papers of 4500-6000 words (approx.) should be submitted by November 10, 2022.
