CFP: Humanism, Posthumanism, Anti-Humanism: Educational Perspectives

The Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory at the University of Belgrade invites the global scholarly and teacher community to submit abstracts for its third international conference, “Why Still Education?” Submissions are due by June 1, 2022.

Grasping the present situation of human and educational history requires (re)thinking a number of important questions. Of course, the answers to these questions depend on one’s understanding of humanism and posthumanism, the critique surrounding both, and what one considers education to be for or thinks it should become. Proposals should provide theoretical, philosophical, sociological, practical or any disciplinary insights on the reflections implied in the conference theme.
