CFP: Public History Summer School

Calls for Submissions

The Institute of History of the University of Wroclaw, Poland (IH UWr), Zajezdnia (Depot) History Center, and the International Federation for Public History invite students, PhD candidates, and practitioners to share their research in the framework of the fourth Public History Summer School to be held online, May 31, 2021 to June 4, 2021. The conference committee strongly encourages graduate and postgraduate students, professionals, as well as those without institutional affiliation but conducting interesting public history projects to submit their proposals in English.

The proposals may include but are not limited to:

  • Ethical aspects of doing history;
  • Historical narratives;
  • History and politics;
  • History and memory;
  • E-history;
  • Digital humanities;
  • Oral history;
  • Visual history;
  • Museums, exhibitions, and archives;
  • Festivals and reenactments;
  • History of education;
  • Historical journalism;
  • Popularisation of history;
  • History and media;
  • History-related games;
  • Project management.

The proposal deadline is April 11, 2021.
