CFP: Slavery, Race, and Empire in Europe and the World

The organizers of the 72nd annual meeting of the New York State Association of European Historians invite submissions related to this year’s theme, “Slavery, Race, and Empire in Europe and the World.” Submissions are due by July 15, 2022.

The annual meeting will be held in Niagara Falls, NY on October 7-8, 2022, hosted by the Niagara Falls Underground Railroad Heritage Center and Niagara University, with funding from a generous AHA-NEH SHARP grant. 

Participants are encouraged to explore the connections between the history of Europe, the world, and Western New York in new, engaging, and public-facing ways.
