CFP: Slavic Folklore Panelists for ASEEES “Precarity” Convention

Calls for Submissions

The Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Folklore Association (SEEFA), an affiliate of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), is issuing an annual call for papers for the ASEEES convention to be held in Chicago, in-person on November 10-13 and online on October 13-14, 2022. The theme of the conference is “Precarity.”  The deadline for submission is February 19, 2022.

Participation in the panels does not require SEEFA membership. SEEFA welcomes submissions not only from folklorists, but also from specialists representing all fields of study, including literature, anthropology, and history. The association will consider any proposals submitted that relate to folklore and will try to form panels and/or roundtables from these submissions.

To propose a paper for a SEEFA-sponsored panel:

  • Electronically send a title and a 150-word abstract of the proposed paper by 19 February to Dorian Jurić at [email protected].
  • Create or update an ASEEES C.V. form (online at http://www.aseees.org/)

SEEFA will notify recipients of inclusion on a panel/roundtable by 22 February 2022.
