Conference Registration Now Open for AMS-SEM-SMT 2022

The 67th Annual Meeting of the Society for Ethnomusicology will be held jointly with the American Musicological Society and the Society for Music Theory on November 10-13, 2022, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel. For information on all aspects of the meeting, please visit the AMS-SEM-SMT 2022 Joint Annual Meeting website and the 2022 Conference area of the SEM website.

Conference registration is now open. Early-Bird registration rates are as follows:

Early-Bird Standard Member Fee: $175   Non-Member Fee: $300
Early-Bird Student/Retired/Low-Income Member Fee: $95   Non-Member Fee: $175

To take advantage of the discounted member fees, you may purchase a 2022 calendar-year SEM membership in the Membership area of the SEM website.

To access the SEM Member conference registration form, log in to the SEM website, select “Members Area” from the menu, and select “2022 Meeting Registration.”

The SEM Gertrude Robinson Network is organizing a pre-conference symposium on Wednesday, November 9, at Dillard University: “Powerful Possibilities: Promoting Sustained Relationships between the Society for Ethnomusicology and Historically Black Colleges and Universities.”

The 2022 Charles Seeger Lecture will be delivered by Philip V. Bohlman (University of Chicago) on Saturday, November 12.
