Digest: A Journal of Foodways and Culture Releases Newest Issue “Food in Hard Times”

The newest issue of Digest: A Journal of Foodways and Culture (Volume 8, Number 1/2) has just been published. Guest edited by Diane Tye of Memorial University of Newfoundland, the theme of this double issue is “Food in Hard Times.”
Additionally, the journal editors seek submissions on any aspect of foodways research. They accept articles (7000-10,000 words), which are sent out for peer review. The journal also accepts shorter research notes, personal reflections (Amuse Bouche), and anything which might be of interest to foodways scholars. These shorter items are published at the discretion of the editors and editorial board. Submissions from multiple disciplines and career paths related to food and culture are encouraged.
