AFS Fellows-Sponsored Salon: Discussing “Folklore Talks: Interrogating the Normal: Folkloristic Engagements with Disability“
April 1, 2022 at 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm EDT
We invite you to participate in a virtual small-group “salon” discussion of the AFS Fellows Webinar: “Interrogating the Normal: Folkloristic Engagements with Disability,” featuring Anand Prahlad, Phyllis May-Machunda and Nora Groce as presenters, with Andrea Kitta, Sara Cleto, and Rebecca Monteleone as discussants, and moderated by Amy Shuman. If you missed the panel, you can watch the recording.
The salon provides an opportunity for the kind of informal, in-depth, conversation that isn’t possible in a webinar. You’ll have an opportunity to indicate access needs on the registration page. One of the break-out rooms will have an ASL interpreter. We don’t anticipate using any visuals.
If you have any other access needs, please contact Amy Shuman at [email protected].
You don’t need to be a member of AFS to attend.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the virtual meeting.
