NEA Grants for Arts Projects 101: Federal Resources & Community Stewardship

May 15, 2025
2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. EDT

In this session, we invite you to learn about the National Endowment for the Arts’ primary grant program, Grants for Arts Projects (GAP), and hear from your peers about their experiences with this funding opportunity.

NEA staff, including Folk & Traditional Arts Director Leia Maahs, Folk & Traditional Arts Specialist Jennie Terman, and Assistant Grants Management Specialist Lauren DeMarco, will provide a brief overview of the Grants for Arts Projects opportunity with a focus on the Folk & Traditional Arts program.

We will close with Q&A including answers to questions that were submitted to NEA staff in advance as well as answers to questions for any of the presenters asked during the session.
