FolkDeep to Host Online Irish Folklore Workshop

Radha Sutra: Stories Across Borders is a six-month Belfast–Delhi digital cultural exchange project by FolkDeep CIC, using folklore, storytelling, folk art, dance, oral histories, and community-led archiving to connect communities across borders. As part of the wider Radha Sutra framework, FolkDeep is planning an online Irish Fairy Folklore workshop linked to cultural researcher and practitioner Samridhi Saini’s Youth Leaders for Peace fellowship project, introducing participants to Irish fairy traditions, Belfast-based folklore memories, and creative reflection through storytelling. The workshop explores how folklore can become a bridge for intercultural dialogue, imagination, empathy, and accessible cultural learning.

The event is free and is open to interested participants aged 18–35. Attendees will be asked to complete a short registration form and a pre-test form before the session.
