Texas Folklife Seeking Deputy Director

Texas Folklife is looking for its next deputy director, with applications rolling until the position is filled.

The Deputy Director supports the organization in all aspects of its operational and programmatic activities as a highly visible manager. They assist the Executive Director (ED) as a thought partner in the development and execution of programs and operational policies, strategic planning, resource allocation and representation of Texas Folklife’s mission. The Deputy Director serves as a supervisor and ensures Texas Folklife’s programmatic work is carried out in a manner consistent with our core values and strategic plan. The Deputy Director also works collaboratively with all of our team members to ensure that programs and operations are conducted with creativity, efficiency, and purpose, and serves as a secondary liaison to Texas Folklife’s Board of Directors.
