The AFS Community Hub Is Now Live
The AFS Community Hub is now live! The AFS Staff are proud to introduce the American Folklore Society Community Hub, a private, members-only online space—now active within your member portal! Designed to elevate your engagement, collaboration, and networking in real time, the Community Hub offers an immersive experience built specifically for you. It offers shelter from the storm at a time when we need connection.
To get started, be sure your AFS membership is active—the Community Hub is an exclusive benefit for current members—and check to make sure your membership is up-to-date. Our goal is to bring people together! Reach out to membership@afsnet.org if renewing your membership presents a financial hardship or obstacle to your continued engagement with the field.
To log in, please go to your AFS membership account. Scroll down the left-hand menu and click on “Community Hub.” Once you’ve logged in, navigate to the FAQs page to access the member user guide and video tutorials. Open up the Quick Links menu in the top left corner of the screen and selecting FAQs.
We can’t wait to see how you’ll connect, collaborate, and contribute. Welcome to your new digital home—see you in the Hub!
