University of Arkansas Seeks Folk Arts and Engagement Specialist

University of Arkansas Libraries is hiring a Folk Arts and Engagement Specialist. This position is responsible for providing key programmatic support for both Arkansas Folk and Traditional Arts (AFTA), as well as Engagement and Outreach in Special Collections.

The Specialist, reporting to the Director of AFTA, will be the primary manager of the oral history lab, scheduling appointments and making sure equipment is properly set. Additionally, the Folk Arts and Engagement Specialist will oversee digital communications for AFTA. Working in partnership with the University Libraries Director of Public Relations, the Specialist will also create content for Special Collections Outreach and Engagement. Digital communications support includes editorial and design support for any publications housed by the University of Arkansas Libraries Special Collections Division.
