Under the supervision of the Lead Historian & Archivist, the Folklorist and Program Coordinator is responsible for administrating all aspects of the Legends & Lore marker grant program. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all state partners and applicants moving through the application process and/or in need of assistance. The Legends & Lore Folklorist and Program Coordinator will also identify, qualify, secure and support new Legends & Lore state partners with the ultimate goal of opening the program to all 50 U.S. states.

This position is full-time, hourly, non-exempt position requiring 40 hours per week plus occasional early and late hours. Work hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with some flexibility. Currently hybrid.

Salary: $45,000 – $55,000, commensurate with skills, education and experience.
