CFP: Fall/Winter 2025 Issue of Pennsylvania Folklore News

The Pennsylvania Center for Folklore is looking for items for the fall/winter issue of its newsletter, Pennsylvania Folklore News. The newsletter highlights timely information and current projects that have ties to Pennsylvania folklore, folklife, or folklore researchers. Articles should be no longer than 200–400 words. The Center is interested in any of the following:
- Short features
- Excerpts
- Reviews
- Field notes
- Research updates
- Event information
- Educational/professional opportunities
- Announcements
- Images
The newsletter is published online and in print. Questions and submissions should be sent to folklore@psu.edu by November 10, 2025.
The Pennsylvania Center for Folklore (founded in 1990 as the Center for Pennsylvania Culture Studies) is committed to studying, documenting, and interpreting historical and contemporary cultural traditions and communities, especially in Pennsylvania, in order to promote greater knowledge of the diverse range of folklore and folklife across the commonwealth, region, and nation. It is affiliated with Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Humanities and American Studies program.
