AFS News, Calls for Submissions, Funding, Prizes

The Cultural Diversity Committee of the American Folklore Society has re-envisioned the Gerald L. Davis Grant in order to create new pathways for engagement in the field and better support new and returning BIPOC members. There are now two application categories: the Presence Pathway, which supports travel to AFS annual meetings, and the Project Pathway, which supports community-focused initiatives. Grants range from $500–$2,000.
