Digest: A Journal of Foodways and Culture, sponsored by AFS and the AFS Foodways Section, is assembling a special issue focused on the intersections of food and pedagogy. How do people use food as a part of their classes? In what way(s) can food be a useful tool to facilitate teaching and learning? This special issue of Digest will collect research, discussions, and analysis of the many ways scholars of food and foodways make their study a part of their classrooms. The special issue welcomes research articles, notes and commentaries, works-in-progress, case studies, and more, on the broad topic of teaching with food and foodways.
