The Arts in Society Research Network is pleased to announce its Sixteenth International Conference on the Arts in Society, held June 16–18, 2021 at The University of Western Australia, School of Design in Perth, Australia.

The conference presents research addressing the 2021 Special Focus: “Voices from the Edge: Negotiating the Local in the Global” and the annual themes:

• Pedagogies of the arts;
• Arts histories and theories;
• New media, technology, and the arts;
• The arts in social, political, and community life.

November 16, 2020 is the submission deadline for its Call for Proposals.
