JAF editors are selected by the AFS Executive Board through a proposal process. Editors serve for five years and are responsible for developing the JAF editorial team, including associate editors, editorial assistants, and special section and review editors. Additionally, the selected editor will select her or his editorial board, which assists the editorial team in creating a vision for the JAF.
