Now, more than ever, we have many options for raising awareness of your work, services or products at the largest international gathering of folklorists and cultural workers.

Why sponsor, exhibit or advertise at the AFS Annual Meeting?

Plan Your Own Event

Note: THIS OPTION IS CLOSED FOR 2023; CONTACT US TO ASK ABOUT AN EVENT IN 2024.

Organize a “meet the author” book event, workshop, information session, or hosted meet and greet all your own. You can be creative about the content — we’ll provide the reception space or Zoom meeting, schedule listing, and in-conference promotion. Contact us at [email protected] to discuss how we can support your plans.

Support a Scheduled Session/Event

Help support the meeting by sponsoring the keynote addresses or another already-scheduled event. The session description will feature your name and logo, if you choose.

Informational Display

A dedicated half table for your materials or floor space for a banner stand. Either is approximately 3’x3’. Ideal if you plan to attend the conference but prefer not to staff a table.

Claim your space in our virtual Showcase, where attendees can browse your description, statement, images or video, download your catalog, and contact you. This feature of our online conference hub is a great way to share information about your organization and links to your store or website. The Showcase will be viewable to all online visitors, not just in-person attendees, from June through December 31. We can suggest ways to customize your space to make the most of its features, including new networking options.

Conference-Wide Banner Ad

Place your banner ad or logo in the online program,  the hub for all virtual and in-person events, with traffic from September through the live event, and continuing at least until the end of the year for on-demand, asynchronous access. Anyone can view the online program, not just registered attendees.

  • Half Page $500: 5.5” x 4.25” (horizontal)
  • Full Page $650: 5.5”x8.5”
  • 2-page spread $1100: see full page specs

Inserts

  • $300
    Provide your own materials – fliers, brochures, etc. – to be handed out to every attendee at registration along with their program book and name tag.

Sponsorship Packages

  • Pick 2 and get a 20% discount. 
  • Pick 3 and get a 30% discount
