AFS Folklore Teaching Resource Collection

, ,

As part of the Open Folklore effort, AFS works with the Indiana University-Bloomington Libraries and with AFS members to assemble a resource of syllabi and other teaching materials for the field of folklore studies. More than 50 syllabi are available on a range of topics, from introductions to the field to more advanced courses in genres, areas and methodologies.

Search or browse the Folklore Teaching Resources Collection.

The front page of the collection displays the most recent postings. To see more, use the menu under “This Collection”; click on “By Issue Date,” “Authors,” “Titles,” or “Subjects” to sort the syllabi accordingly.

Please contribute to the collection! To submit your syllabus or other teaching materials, please contact [email protected]
