Veterans History Project Offers Free Workshop at the 2022 AFS Annual Meeting

The Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress will offer a free workshop that covers:

  • Basic community documentation project planning skills
  • How to share the stories of veterans in your life or community with the Library of Congress
  • How to engage your community with existing Oklahoma Veterans History Project collections

The workshop will take place at the Greenwood Cultural Center, 233 N Greenwood Ave, Tulsa, OK on Friday, October 14, 2022; 9am-12pm (CT). Registration is requested, but not required.

Sponsors include the American Folklore Society, Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Oklahoma Historical Records Advisory Board, with funding support from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission
