Woody Guthrie Center to Offer Guided Multimedia Talk and Tours October 11-12

Anna Canoni, granddaughter of Woody Guthrie and Vice President of Woody Guthrie Publications, will present guided tours of the Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song exhibit at the Woody Guthrie Center, October 12, as well as a members-only multimedia tour on October 11.

October 11: Multimedia Tour of Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song Exhibit (members only)

AFS members who are or become Woody Guthrie Center members are invited to attend Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song–First Look, October 11, 2022, 6:00–8:00pm. Join Anna Canoni, Woody Guthrie’s granddaughter, Vice President of Woody Guthrie Publications, and one of the curators of this special exhibition, on an intimate guided multimedia tour through the new “Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song” exhibit. Register in advance for a chance to receive one of 18 signed copies of the new book “Woody Guthrie: Songs and Art • Words and Wisdom.” Walk with Anna as she shares family stories and insight into her grandfather’s creative works.

October 12: Tours of Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song

On October 12, Anna Canoni will lead tours of the Woody Guthrie: People Are the Song exhibit, free with admission. This exhibit features highlights from Nora Guthrie and Robert Santelli’s new book, Woody Guthrie: Songs and Art • Words and Wisdom.

The tours will be offered at 10:00 am, 12:00, 2:00 and 4:00 pm.
