CNN’s United Shades of America Features Crystal Good, Founder of Black By God: The West Virginian

Sixth-generation West Virginian Black writer-poet, advocate, entrepreneur, culture worker, and newspaper publisher Crystal Good was the feature and consulting producer on the 2022 “Black in Appalachia” episode of United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell for CNN. The episode aired July 17, 2022. Good is founder of Black By God: The West Virginian, a news and storytelling organization centering Black voices from West Virginia.
