“Hoping Machine”

In 2020, we remained hopeful that efforts to meet in Tulsa would be eventually be realized, and that virtual meetings would provide a meaningful way to engage with each other and with work in our field until we could meet in person again. Woody Guthrie wrote, “The note of hope is the only note that can keep us from falling to the bottom of the heap of evolution. Because, largely, about all a human being is anyway is just a hoping machine.” To that end, we reached out to a few of our members to ask them to share what they were hopeful for; member Thomas Richardson created some videos in the new Zoom aesthetic (thanks, Thomas!). https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4FRcP0trlQrgQn3JGNSfAK60LTbSP4qJ
