Reserve Your Albuquerque Hotel Room in the AFS Block by October 7

The time is now to reserve your room at the DoubleTree by Hilton in downtown Albuquerque to ensure that you get the special room rate for AFS annual meeting registrants. You must book by October 7, 2024, to be sure to get the conference rate.

Most conference events will take place at the Albuquerque Convention Center, as well as the DoubleTree by Hilton. These two adjacent properties are connected by a convenient underground passage, offering a safe route for late-night returns from conference activities.

In addition to being the closest and most convenient option for lodging, the conference hotel offers the best value. We have negotiated a low rate of $182 per night for our attendees (or $162 per night for students) over our dates, and you will not be charged a hidden $25 amenity fee—like you will at many other local hotels—when you complete your reservation.

If you intend to stay at the DoubleTree, please reserve a room in the AFS block by using the reservation link that we provide, rather than a third-party hotel reservation system. This helps both you and AFS. If you have any trouble with your reservation, we will have more leverage to help you if you reserve within our block. Also, placing your reservation this way satisfies our contracts with the hotel and convention center, helping us to avoid potentially costly fees if our block is not filled.
