We’re pleased to share these new, important announcements about our upcoming Annual Meeting.

Preliminary Program

The dates of the conference are now set: October 18-24, 2021, with virtual sessions October 18-20, and in-person sessions in Harrisburg, October 21-23. Some in-person events will be streamed for those who can’t travel to Harrisburg.

You can browse the preliminary program to see how the program is shaping up, though the schedule will be subject to change through July. We’re still working on developing programming that we look forward to adding throughout the summer.

If you’re presenting, please review your presentation details and send corrections to [email protected] as soon as possible. We will attempt to accommodate change requests if we receive them by July 18.

Information for Attendees

We have updated our Information for Attendees with some important updates, like how to reserve a guest room in the conference hotel. We will continue to add other valuable resources, like local guides prepared by members of our annual meeting planning committee, as they become available.

Future Meeting Updates

Information about the meeting will be posted as it develops to the 2021 Annual Meeting page at https://americanfolkloresociety.org/our-work/meeting/2021-meeting/. You can also track our Annual Meeting News at https://americanfolkloresociety.org/category/annual-meeting-news/

We look forward to seeing you in October, in-person, virtual, or both!
